Hello, New Zealand — meet MISTFOLD
MISTFOLD began with a simple feeling: the calm of standing on a mountain as the cloud rolls in. Our matcha is grown on high slopes where mist lingers most of the year. The cloud shades the leaf, and the cool air slows its growth. Slow leaf makes soft, deep flavour.
Four grades, named for the mountain
We name our grades for where they sit on the slope. Summit is the one for drinking on its own, fresh and silky with a sweet return. Ridge is nutty and full-bodied, made for lattes and baking. Reserve is light and bright for drinks and iced cups. Terrace is bold and toasty, built for baking and desserts.
Checked, not just promised
Every grade is 100% tea leaf, with nothing added. Independent lab results and producer certifications are published on our quality page, so you can read them for yourself.
From Hobsonville to your cup
Orders are packed in Hobsonville, Auckland, with a second warehouse in Hong Kong for customers further afield. Cafés, bakeries and resellers can apply for trade supply.
